Cindy Hickman Ray is from Wilmington and has lived in Charlotte, Hilton Head Island, and Mount Airy Maryland  She graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2003 with a Master of Science in Pastoral Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of North Carolina.

Cindy is also a seminary student at Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC, and is a certified candidate for Deacon in the United Methodist Church. Her ministry focus is pastoral counseling.

Cindy's background in healthcare compliments her psychotherapy practice encouraging clients to consider proactive, preventive lifestyle choices. As a cancer survivor, she has personal insight into the physical and emotional struggles a person may encounter with chronic and acute illness. Cindy is available to speak to groups. She is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and the Cape Fear Psychological Association.
