A Compassionate Journey
_________________________

Pastoral Counseling is a unique form of psychotherapy that complements social science. As a pastoral counselor I take seriously the many aspects of a person on this journey: the mind, the body, and the spirit. In the practice I tend to see clients with common psychological problems like depression, anxiety, marital conflict, relationship concerns, parent-child issues, and mood swings, like manic depressive/bi-polar disorder.

Sometimes these issues present as body ailments like headaches, impaired sleep, gastric issues, and panic attacks.  When medical treatments have not worked to alleviate these conditions many doctors, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, and psychiatrists may refer their patients to me for therapy.  Often times pastors recommend counseling as well.

By looking at other factors in people's lives such as the way a relationship might be one sided, or a lifestyle that is not balanced, and uncovering unconscious behavioral patterns, many people have found greater relief  from problems they may have perceived as medical.

The process of therapy creates a way for folks to be more relaxed, more peaceful, happy, and able to enjoy life again.

Powerful emotions may accompany your life on these passages of life. Call for an appointment to begin a compassionate journey and embrace the changes that bring together a new way of experiencing your life.
